But from this experience as least I will know what to check if a similar problem with the service and stop light emerges. Thank you for taking the time and advice it is appreciated . We had the same fault lights that you describe.

Mitch fuscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03263706782348126033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8860412883255986415.post-19730723921166127992018-05-17T06:02:01.830+01:002018-05-17T06:02:01.830+01:00 I am hoping someone reading this can help . Several weeks after these parts were changed out of the blue both the red engine stop light and the yellow engine service lights came on and are on permanently whilst the engine is running. A friend with access to a professional engine ecu code reader came back with no error codes. I should mention that the ABS and handbrake warning light are
also both on, but they have been on for a long time, ABS sensors have been changed and after testing we think it is the ABS unit ( could they be connected ). Just to confirm when you turn on
the ignition all the lights come on , the glow plug light, the
the fuel low warning light , the inhibitor/security light all go out after few seconds. The fuel and temp gauge appear to working OK and no other sign of electrical faults. IF anyone has any ideas of what to check it would be appreciated ?Naims.nethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11443245560189268763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8860412883255986415.post-15722135040999014132018-02-20T15:46:21.903+00:002018-02-20T15:46:21.903+00:00thank you for reading the post and your supportthank you for reading the post and your supportMitch fuscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03263706782348126033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8860412883255986415.post-37987563600720628492018-02-18T23:42:48.534+00:002018-02-18T23:42:48.534+00:00I m not expert, but I believe you just made an exc...I m not expert, but I believe you just made an excellent point. It can also mean the sensor it's self needs changing.

Please note that the following was also happening: Head lights were sort of flashing getting brighter and softer I also noticed that the the temperature gauge was oscillating in time with the lights.

Update: I still have not changed the cooling sensor. From what I can tell, it can be many different things. What was it on yours?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15334488839440013890noreply@blogger.com
